About us

At Next Axis, we machine parts that progress people. That means that although we’re proud of every machined part we deliver, for us it’s about more than that. It’s about something much bigger. It’s about being a part of an industry we love and being able to give back to that industry and its people. From training countless apprentices to building strong relationships with the customers we serve and support, our team at Next Axis is genuinely proud of its people-centric ethos, of being part of this industry and of both contributing to and representing British engineering.

The leadership team at Next Axis, led by Martin Koerner, collectively has over 100 years of experience in machining and precision engineering, experience that we bring to every single job and share with every single customer. From the point of enquiry to the delivery of a job, we pride ourselves on supporting our customers in every way we can – from developing in-house solutions for complex new jobs to sourcing the perfect materials to meet a customer’s specific requirements.

Our 6,000 square feet of premises in Portsmouth, Hampshire, house our CNC turning and EDM wire erosion departments as well as a laser-etching machine and five 5-axis machining centres. This means we have the capacity to take on even very large and complex jobs and, before delivering the completed job to a customer, can also part mark every component in-house, to ensure full product traceability.

Next Axis constantly strives to be innovative, competitive and at the forefront of precision engineering in order to offer our customers the latest in machining knowhow and expertise. Working across an array of sectors – from automotive to aerospace, motorsport to medical – and with various materials – from stainless steel to cobalt chrome, tungsten to titanium – the team at Next Axis has the knowledge, experience and passion to help even the most complex of jobs take shape.
